One means of contributing to ‘competitive sustainability’ is to help reduce environmentally harmful emissions, including those of greenhouse gases (like CO₂, CH₄, N₂O, HFC, PFC and SF₆) and particulate matter. Emissions reduction can also be achieved by reducing waste, through reuse and recycling of feedstocks, as an energy source, for example.
